Banquet Scorpion, and Toyota Arm

Here we have two different items. The scorpion was made for The Banquet movie ( Ye-Yan in Chinese ( which also got renamed to “The Legend of the Black Scorpion” for the US version. ) The scorpion was made using mostly zbrush, and a bunch of clay3d.

The Mechanical Arm was done using only Modo 203. It was done for a Toyota Parts and Services Commercial. Most of the arm was however cut out of the shot due to the framing but the entire bottom half was in the shot, so all is not lost :)

Kraft Dinner Moth

This moth ( along with a burnt version ) was done for Technicolors, 49 Ontario street commercial division. ( that is what I will call them for now ( googling 49 ontario street doesnt bring up their website, so thats why I attached Technicolor to the mix ( and IMO they should have stayed with Technicolor|Commercial ). Anyhow, the moth was used for a Kraft Dinner commercial, where it flies into a moth trap and gets burnt, and then eaten. yummy. I used Clay, Modo, and Zbrush for the bulk of the work and then added fur using shave and haircut. The model was animated in Maya, the hair ended up being redone by another artist, and in some shots dropped entirely. )

Dear Anne: work in progress models of old.

Here are a number of heads that I worked on with Mauro Gandini for the Dear Anne movie. A number of other artists helped shape them initially so we could get them out faster, and then the bulk of the work was done by Mauro and myself. These characters have had further revisions done to them after I left, so they look better now, especially after having aZbrush pass done. None of the heads shown here have any Z-brushing done as you should be able to notice. The textures are temporary to help establish the character better, as well as the stand in geometric hair. There were plenty of other characters but I left out a bunch of them.

Here are a few models that I worked on for Pseudo Interactive for their unannounced project back in early 2007.
Unfortunately the game shop that hired me to work these has shut down operations ( and according to the artists, as long as we put a watermark its ok to show some stuff. so here goes nothing :) )
